The free part and the Pro subscription

Arbitrage — Making money on the price difference of the same thing in two places: buy where it's cheaper, sell where it's more expensive.

Opportunity (arbitrage pair) — A pair of trades in arbitrage: where we buy and where we sell.

Spot — Ordinary buying and selling of the coin or stock itself: you buy it — it's yours.

Order book — The list of all buy and sell orders at every price at this very second.

Volume — How much money or how many units changed hands over a period. A move on high volume is more reliable than one on low volume.

Timeframe — What stretch of time one candle on the chart shows: a minute, an hour, a day.

Candle — A bar on the chart for one stretch of time: where the price opened, where it closed, its high and its low.

Breakout — The price has gone through a level and held beyond it.

Screener — A filtering program: it scans hundreds of stocks or coins and shows only those that match the given criteria.

Position — An open trade: what you have bought or sold and haven't closed yet.

Deposit (account) — The money in your trading account.

DEMO — The DEMO account in MAMAY: prices and fees are real, orders don't go to the exchange, and no real money is at risk.

Backtest — Testing a rule on past data: what would have happened if we had traded this way before.

Two parts of the program

MAMAY consists of a free part and a Pro subscription.

The US stocks and Russian stocks sections are not part of the subscription. There's one chart restriction for the whole program: without a subscription — from 1 hour.

The 3- and 7-minute timeframes

The rare timeframes are available on crypto charts. Exchanges hardly ever provide such candles, so MAMAY builds them from one-minute candles — starting at the beginning of the day in UTC, the way big terminals do. The last candle of the day can be shorter (a day doesn't divide evenly into 7 minutes). A rare timeframe shows what a standard one doesn't: a breakout "between" the familiar 5- and 15-minute candles.

In the free part, timeframes below one hour are shown with a lock 🔒. Clicking them opens a comparison of the free part and Pro.

What the showcase is

In the free part, "Crypto Arbitrage" shows the same list of arbitrage opportunities, but updates it every 15 minutes. That's enough to understand what kinds of opportunities exist and how much net profit they hold. You can't trade from the showcase: an arbitrage opportunity lives for seconds or minutes, and in 15 minutes it's gone.

In Pro the list updates in real time, and clicking a row opens the opportunity card, recalculated for your size, with an entry button.

Pro hints

In the free part MAMAY sometimes reminds you what Pro offers. The rules are set up so the hints don't get in the way of your work:

The comparison talks about other terminals in general terms — how the market usually works, without naming any programs.

How to tell that a section is locked

In the left menu, locked tabs are marked PRO.
A locked tab opens, but instead of its content it shows that the section is part of the subscription.
"Settings" → "Program" → "Subscription" says which part is currently active.

How to enter the key

Open "Settings" → "Program" → "Subscription".
Copy this computer's code — it looks like MM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX — and send it to the seller.
Receive the subscription key: a long string that starts with MAMAY-.
Paste the key into the field and click "Apply key". Pro unlocks immediately, no restart needed.

The computer code is not a password and not an exchange key. It can't be used to log into your MAMAY or see your money. The subscription seller never needs your exchange keys.

What to know about the key

A key works on one computer — the one whose code you sent. On another computer the program will say the key wasn't issued for it.
A key has an expiry date. When it expires, the program goes back to the free part. Your settings, history and DEMO accounts stay in place.
No internet needed to check it. The key is verified on your computer.
Don't set your clock back. The program notices and pauses the subscription until the date is correct.
Reinstalled Windows or changed computers — the code will change. Write to the seller: the key will be reissued.

If the key isn't accepted
