What's on the screen
"Crypto Arbitrage" gathers all arbitrage opportunities into one table. Each row is an opportunity: where we buy, where we sell and what it gives us.
The "Crypto Arbitrage" switch is at the top right of the tab. When arbitrage is on, it keeps price and order book streams from six exchanges for every coin and recalculates opportunities in the background — a noticeable load on the computer and the internet connection (on the test computer ≈ 10% CPU versus 0.5% when off). If you don't trade arbitrage, turn it off: "Terminal", the order book, trading, "Breakout", "Bounce", stocks and self-learning keep working as before. The switch position is remembered after a restart. While the arbitrage auto-trader is running it can't be turned off — it needs live prices.
Before entering, check three things
- Whether deposits and withdrawals of the coin are open on both exchanges. If withdrawals are closed, the spread may not converge for days.
- Whether the order book is deep enough for your size — the net result is calculated for a specific amount.
- Whether it's the same coin. Different coins sometimes share a ticker on different exchanges.
